How we schedule across a big region

The Houston area is large and traffic is real. We group measuring visits and installs by part of town, so tell us your best days and times when you call. If you are arranging the project for a parent, we can coordinate with you by phone and with your parent or a neighbor on site.

Why city limits matter

Inside Houston, the Houston Permitting Center handles permits. Sugar Land, Pearland, League City, Pasadena, Conroe, Katy and other cities run their own offices. Unincorporated areas such as Cypress, much of Spring and The Woodlands follow county and utility district rules. That affects who pulls a plumbing or electrical permit and what inspections apply, so we confirm it before work starts.

Baytown, Galveston and the outer edges

Baytown spans Harris and Chambers counties, so the aging agency depends on the side of the line you live on. Galveston Island homes face salt air and storm surge, which affects surround and fastener choices. Richmond and Rosenberg in Fort Bend County mix older downtown homes with new subdivisions. Each of these areas has its own city permit office.
